The Ness Housel is a Georgian property, built in 1810, on the outskirts of Shaldon village overlooking the Teign Estuary and only a stone’s throw from the beach.
20 yards away the Smugglers Tunnel can be found, leading you down to the secluded Ness Beach, sheltered by the Ness Cliff. There is a ferry which runs between Teignmouth and Shaldon and fishing at the mouth of the estuary is popular all year round. The towns of Dawlish and Torquay are just a few miles away, both accessible by train or bus.
We love dogs, as all good pubs should! Well-behaved dogs are welcome in our bar and outdoor areas. Wi-Fi access is free to all our guests (subject to availability).
The Ness House is proud to be part of the Hall & Woodhouse family. For more information on Hall & Woodhouse and to find other Hall & Woodhouse houses click here.
